ACR Accreditation Support

ACCEPTANCE TESTING
PCI is equipped and qualified to perform acceptance testing services for mammography equipment, radiographic equipment, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and hot lab equipment.

MRI ACCREDITATION
PCI can provide physics support for MRI accreditation.  Our physicists assist in acquiring phantom images required for ACR accreditation.  PCI provides the client with a written report outlining the results and interpretation of the phantom images.

ULTRASOUND ACCREDITATION
PCI physicists will assist in the establishment of the quality control program for all ultrasound units in facilities accredited by the ACR.  PCI will also act as the designated monitoring medical physicist in charge of periodically reviewing the QC program.  In the case of results that fall outside of the control limits, PCI will be available to assist in prescribing corrective actions for unresolved problems.
